Well another attempt at an international photography competition, the Lens Culture 2019 Black and White Awards. The image is one I shot a few months ago, and I like it. It is simple in composition but there is a lot complexity that I think is discovered when you look. I gave it the title "Back from the past, back to the past" which is a play on words about several aspects of what is happening in the image, and about the hero subject itself. Anyway my hope would be to at least make the top 30 or so, as those images will go on display in the Caelum Gallery in New York with full credit as part of major international photographic exhibitions in April 2020. Announcements in December.
