Evening is Coming
Deep pool, dark waters
Concealing what is at the waters edge.
Stillness,darkness,slowly creeping closer.
Evening is coming. Evening, is coming.
The glow of the day lingers.
Holding out with that last glorious gasp.
A flurry of colour to end the day.
And a promise of a tomorrow to come.
